Sexual dreams, also known as erotic dreams, are something everyone experiences. Dreaming of having sex, or romantic love, is a natural human experience. The causes of sexual dreams are very complex. Dreaming of having sex with a relative: If you dream of having sex with a relative or elder of the opposite sex, it can generally be divided into two situations. If the sexual object is your father or mother, psychoanalytic theory considers it a psychological reflection of the dreamer’s incestuous desires, known as the “Oedipus complex.” However, psychological research shows that “incestuous sexual desires rarely appear in dreams; instead, they appear metaphorically and symbolically, and these dreams often manifest as nightmares.” In the dream, a girl is allegedly raped. “Rape” symbolizes a will imposed upon her. “Rape from behind” symbolizes a decision made against her will without her knowledge. “Grandpa” or “old man” symbolizes a male elder or outdated ideas exerting their will upon her. “Voluntary” indicates her submission to the imposed will. “He failed and I am still a virgin” signifies that although the will was imposed, it could not change her original intentions.
